Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations during initial consultations to identify client needs and challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Washington.
  • A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating the ability to connect with clients and document care effectively.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience working as a mental health counselor, with a proven track record of managing a diverse caseload.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, for effective documentation and care management.
  • Familiarity with current best practices established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) and an understanding of psychotropic medications.
