Job description

$24-$26/hr W-2 on a 4-day workweek. Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Every weekend is a 3-day weekend. Skillforce is hiring CNC Machine Operators running Trumpf and Mazak fiber lasers, press brake, CNC turret punch, plasma, and MultiCam router in Henrico, VA. No travel.

Operators must read blueprints, work from a tape measure, and know sheet metal vs structural materials. Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen, and hold a valid US driver's license with reliable transportation.

Pay and Schedule

  • $24-$26/hr W-2
  • 4 days, Mon-Thu, 6 AM to 4:30 PM
  • 3-day weekend every week
  • Top of range for multi-machine setup

Responsibilities

  • Set up, run, and maintain CNC machines
  • Write operating instructions from CAD/CAM
  • Set and calibrate tooling for each run
  • Inspect parts for fit and non-conformance
  • Daily preventive maintenance on equipment

Qualifications

  • 5+ yrs on laser, press brake, or turret punch
  • Read blueprints, tape, fraction-to-decimal
  • Sheet metal vs structural knowledge
  • Trumpf, Mazak, or Amada experience preferred
  • Pass background check and drug screen
  • Valid US driver's license, reliable transport
