• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand each patient's trauma history and needs.
• Develop tailored treatment plans that incorporate a range of therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions designed to help clients process trauma, build coping skills, and promote overall healing.
• Provide crisis intervention strategies during emergencies, ensuring patients receive timely support and care.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive treatment strategies.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in alignment with ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in trauma-informed care.
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and available community resources, empowering them to navigate their recovery journey.

Our primary focus is on individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including but not limited to PTSD survivors, those with complex trauma backgrounds, and clients facing dissociative disorders. You will play a vital role in their recovery, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to each person's unique experience and promoting resilience and empowerment throughout their healing journey.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Possession of a current and valid license as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois.
• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-informed treatment practices and therapies.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate compassionately and effectively with a diverse clientele.
• Proficient in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team framework.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred, especially involving trauma-focused therapies.
• Experience in crisis intervention and techniques for managing high-stress scenarios.
• Familiarity with relevant therapeutic methodologies specific to trauma-informed care.
