This position is a remote role, enabling you to engage with clients across various communities effectively. Our community health clinic is designed to utilize advanced telehealth technology, ensuring seamless communication and high-quality care delivery. • Provide individual, couples, and family therapy sessions through telehealth platforms, ensuring client comfort and security via digital means.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' backgrounds, issues, and goals to create customized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs.
• Employ your grasp of family systems theory to skillfully navigate complex interpersonal dynamics, helping clients develop healthier relationships.
• Respond promptly to crisis situations by offering immediate support strategies to maintain clients' safety and emotional stability.
• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations, including therapy notes and progress reports.
• Teach clients effective coping strategies, communication skills, and relationship-building techniques to enhance their interpersonal effectiveness.
• Participate in regular team meetings to share insights, discuss client progress, and collaborate on treatment strategies with other multidisciplinary professionals.
• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops, seminars, and obtaining additional certifications in the field of marriage and family therapy.

You will be working with a diverse clientele that includes individuals, couples, and families, many of whom may be navigating challenging life transitions, relationship issues, and mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. The population served by Assertive Community of Counseling Services includes both adults and youth, with an emphasis on understanding the unique cultural and social backgrounds of our clients to provide tailored support.

• A valid Marriage and Family Therapist license (LMFT) in the state of Georgia.
• A master’s degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related discipline.
• At least one year of practical experience in delivering therapy as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a commitment to ethical practice and confidentiality.
• Proficiency in telehealth technologies and willingness to adapt to new systems for effective client engagement.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a high-functioning remote team environment.
• Flexibility in scheduling to meet the diverse needs of clients, including availability for evening and weekend sessions.

• Previous experience in outpatient therapy settings is highly desirable.
• Certifications in areas such as trauma-informed care or marriage enrichment are advantageous.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing a caseload and producing tangible client outcomes.
