Position Overview

Resolute Counseling, LLC is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our remote team. In this full-time position, you will play a pivotal role in delivering specialized mental health care to individuals who have experienced trauma. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' histories and determine tailored treatment strategies.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at facilitating trauma recovery and empowering clients to build resilience.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including, but not limited to, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that guide clients in processing their trauma while equipping them with essential coping strategies.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure integrated and cohesive care for all clients.
• Offer crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, assuring clients receive timely assistance.
• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses and coping mechanisms, providing valuable resources to aid their recovery.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation, adhering to all legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities focused on the advancement of trauma-informed care principles.
• Stay current with research and best practices in trauma therapy to provide the highest level of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be working with trauma survivors, including individuals dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will serve a diverse clientele, striving to build rapport and trust while understanding their unique experiences and challenges. Your compassionate approach will be essential in guiding these individuals on their path toward healing and recovery.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a regionally accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Florida.
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling setting.
• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate nature that fosters client trust.
• Ability to remain composed and effective in high-stress situations.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, contributing to cohesive care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with a trauma-focused approach in an outpatient setting.
• Familiarity with community resources and support systems for trauma recovery.
• Active participation in continuing education opportunities related to trauma therapy.

Compensation and Benefits
