Resolute Counseling, LLC is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our therapeutic team. This full-time position, based remotely in Rochester, New York, involves delivering specialized mental health services to individuals who have experienced trauma. Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments, understanding each client's unique history to tailor effective treatment plans.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment strategies that prioritize trauma recovery and empower clients to build coping skills.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.
• Lead individual and group therapy sessions that help clients process their trauma experiences and foster emotional resilience.
• Provide crisis intervention services as needed, ensuring clients receive timely support during trauma-related emergencies.
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources.
• Maintain meticulous, confidential client documentation compliant with legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development activities focused on trauma-informed care.
• Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to inform your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work primarily with adult clients suffering from trauma-related conditions, including PTSD, complex trauma, and various dissociative disorders. Our client population is diverse, with varying backgrounds and trauma histories, necessitating a flexible and empathetic therapeutic approach. You will address the unique needs of each client, supporting their journey toward recovery and self-discovery.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.
• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, paired with a compassionate, non-judgmental demeanor.
• Ability to remain composed and effective under high-stress circumstances.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of post-licensure clinical experience in a mental health setting, demonstrating expertise in trauma-informed care.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems, enabling efficient documentation and client management.
• Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions, effectively utilizing established therapeutic frameworks.
• Collaborative mindset for working effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers an attractive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 annually, reflecting the expertise and dedication of our mental health professionals.
