Job description

About the Role

Asย Commercial Insurance Marketerย you provide new account marketing support to this independent agencyโ€™s sales team. Youโ€™ll work on middle market commercial property and casualty accounts of variousย size and complexity in multipleย industries. Many of these accounts are large, complex risks in industries such as construction, manufacturing, oil and gas, transportation, and habitation.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Build marketing plans for current accounts and prospective new business deals.ย 
  • Prepare underwriting submissions, completing the necessary applications, loss runs, and narratives.
  • Negotiate rates and coverage with underwriters.
  • Work withย sales and service teams to set timelines to complete the marketing process, obtain quotes, and compileย presentations


Skills & Experience

Minimum 3-5 years of commercial insurance experience in roles that involve account management, marketing, placement/brokering, or underwriting.


Insurance agency, carrier, or MGA/wholesale backgrounds will be considered.


Job Specs

Open to qualified applicants on a work-from-home, remote basis within Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, or Tennessee.
