We are seeking a Training Team Leader to join our team and support our client. The ideal candidate is an engaging and service-minded training leader who understands how technology education can improve user confidence, increase adoption, and reduce support demand. This individual brings strong instructional capabilities, thoughtful program coordination, and a commitment to delivering high-quality learning experiences in a dynamic enterprise environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead training activities in support of the NIH IT Technology Training Program.
  • Coordinate the planning, delivery, and continuous improvement of technical training courses and seminars for NIH staff.
  • Develop learning content that supports user proficiency in computers, networks, information systems, and evolving technologies.
  • Align training offerings with customer needs, operational priorities, and service improvement goals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to promote awareness, adoption, and effective use of IT tools and services.
  • Support reporting, documentation, and quality practices that strengthen the training program and customer experience.

Work Experience and Job Skills:

  • Strong experience leading technical training programs, enterprise learning initiatives, or structured technology education efforts.
  • Ability to design and deliver training for users with varying levels of technical proficiency.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience developing training materials, schedules, and learning strategies that support organizational goals.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard of instructional quality and customer service.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree is required. Preferred field of study in Education, Information Technology, Instructional Design, or related field of study.
  • MBA/Master's Degree in a relevant field of study preferred.

Certificates, Licenses and Registrations:

  • Desired certifications may include instructional design, learning technology, ITIL, Microsoft, or training-related credentials relevant to enterprise IT learning environments.

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written skills, ability to present proposals and performance data, comfortable interfacing all levels of organization.
  • Ability to write clear and concise creative content in a highly confidential manner.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Travel:

  • Local travel within a 50-mile radius of NIH Bethesda, Maryland is not reimbursable.
  • On occasion, travel may be required of Contractor personnel and, if approved in advance by the Contracting Officer, may be reimbursed in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations.
  • Work may be performed at Government facilities, remote locations, or approved employee work locations in support of Government operations.

Environmental Requirements:

  • Mainly a routine office environment.
  • May be required to lift up to ten (10) pounds
  • Flexible in working extended hours
