The Citizens Memorial Mental Health Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our remote team on a full-time basis. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental and emotional health to establish effective treatment frameworks.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans that align with clients' unique needs, concerns, and aspirations, revisiting and updating these plans as necessary.
  • Facilitate individual therapy sessions for clients of all ages, addressing a myriad of mental health challenges, from depression to anxiety and family dynamics.
  • Lead couplesโ€™ therapy sessions aimed at fostering better communication, conflict resolution, and relationship enhancement among partners.
  • Document all therapy contacts meticulously, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and maintaining accurate client records, including progress notes and treatment adjustments.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, engaging with external specialists and healthcare providers to facilitate comprehensive care for our clients.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily involve working with a diverse client base, including individuals, couples, children, and families. Each session will focus on a variety of mental health issues, helping clients navigate daily life challenges while promoting their emotional and relational health.

Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field is required.
  • Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of New Jersey is mandatory.
  • Knowledge and experience in providing therapy to both individuals and couples across varying age groups.
  • Strong capabilities in completing assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans in a timely manner.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with the ability to effectively utilize electronic health record systems for client management.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience in an outpatient mental health setting is preferred.
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, and diverse populations will be advantageous.
  • Comfort with telehealth platforms and remote counseling techniques is essential.
Compensation and Benefits
