Events Specialist
The Opportunity:
Booz Allen is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Events Specialist to support the planning and execution of external trade show events and internal corporate events. This role is ideal for a mid-career professional with experience managing end-to-end event logistics for technology or product-focused organizations.
The Events Specialist will play a key role in driving brand visibility and engagement through external industry events while also supporting internal meetings, workshops, and corporate functions as needed. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
What You'll Do:
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute external trade show events, including logistics, vendor management, and on-site support
  • Partner with marketing, business development, and technical teams to align event strategy with business objectives
  • Manage event timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful execution
  • Coordinate booth logistics, shipping, inventory, and promotional materials for trade shows
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors, venues, and event organizers
  • Support lead capture processes and post-event reporting and analytics
  • Assist with planning and execution of internal events such as town halls, leadership meetings, and team offsites
  • Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all events
  • Identify opportunities to improve event processes and attendee experience

You Have:
  • 4+ years of experience in event planning, including external trade shows or industry events
  • Experience supporting events for technology, product, or B2B organizations
  • Experience coordinating vendors, contracts, and logistics
  • Ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously
  • Ability to manage and organize a project
  • Ability to provide a portfolio for review
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience supporting both external and internal corporate events
  • Experience with CRM or event management tools such as Salesforce, Cvent, or similar platforms
  • Experience managing event budgets and reporting ROI
  • Ability to travel as needed to support events
  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
