Position Overview

Guiding Light Therapy is searching for a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our compassionate team in Brockton, Massachusetts. This full-time remote position is situated within a Hospice Center, where you will work closely with clients experiencing major mental health challenges and severe emotional disorders. Work Environment

This position offers flexibility, allowing you to work remotely while engaging with our clients. Your work at our Hospice Center will require comprehensive understanding of hospice care, as you will be supporting clients at critical moments of their lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health needs through individual, group, and family therapy sessions, using evidence-based practices.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor integrated care plans to ensure clients' access to essential services, collaborating closely with family members and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide crisis intervention as necessary, employing de-escalation techniques and tailored support strategies to stabilize emotionally fragile clients.
  • Participate proactively in team meetings, sharing insights and supporting collective goals that enhance service delivery and improve patient outcomes.
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate records for timely reporting, ensuring compliance with ethical guidelines and organizational standards.
  • Identify risk situations, employing solid safety protocols while promoting a supportive therapeutic environment for all clients.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve clients facing significant mental health challenges, including severe emotional disorders and major mental illnesses. Our patient population is incredibly diverse, requiring sensitivity to various cultural backgrounds, beliefs, and experiences. Your work will be crucial in providing the support and empowerment necessary for these clients to navigate their mental health journeys and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications
  • A valid LCSW license in Massachusetts.
  • A bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in mental health practice, preferably within community health or hospice settings.
  • Expertise in assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and crisis management specific to mental health.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with diverse populations.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills, enabling efficient case management and service delivery.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in hospice or palliative care settings.
  • Familiarity with developing integrated care plans within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting group therapy sessions and using therapeutic modalities to facilitate client engagement.
Compensation and Benefits

Guiding Light Therapy offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
