ProAg, a member of Tokio Marine HCC group of companies, is looking for a detail-oriented, Compliance Reviewer. This is an individual contributor role that consults with both internal and external teams as needed during the review process. As a Compliance Reviewer, you will have an opportunity to learn many facets of the crop insurance business while completing reviews on a variety of crops and policy types. You will be joining a dedicated department, with long-tenured staff, that are invested in helping you learn and grow.

In this Exciting Opportunity, You Will:

  • Consult with external parties to obtain the needed information and documentation to complete the review process.
  • Consult with team members and supervisors on procedural issues during the review process.
  • Exercise best independent judgement in the handling complex reviews and escalating them as needed.
  • Communicate with and support internal and external teams as needed.
  • Understand and convey both internal and external processes and procedures.
  • Follow appropriate compliance workflow procedures as established.
  • Effectively and efficiently manage review workload.
  • Provide excellent customer service and adhere to ProAg performance standards for contacting insureds, checking and responding daily to email, and conducting daily business professionally.
  • Coordinate with adjusting staff regarding Conflict of Interest (COI), Growing Season Inspections (GSI) and High Dollar Reviews required.
  • Alert adjusting staff to claims reviews in process.
  • Maintain all required review documentation in policy processing system.
  • Maintain a qualified and trained reviewer status.
  • Monitor the Compliance Register for assignment of reviews.
  • Maintain knowledge of Risk Management Agency (RMA) rules and regulations, ProAg procedures, and Federal Crop Insurance regulations.
  • Actively participate in all assigned employee education and development programs.
  • Perform other related duties as required or assigned.

  • Two years of crop insurance/agriculture related experience is preferred but not required.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated skill in interpersonal communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy when serving both internal and external teams
  • Advanced organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Maintaining confidentiality in daily operations

Pay Transparency

The pay range for this position is $50,000 - $80,000, which includes geographic adjustments, where applicable. The pay range is the range THMCC, in good faith, believes is the range of compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
