Position Summary

Our team is seeking a self-managed salesperson who is passionate about selling, loves to be challenged, genuinely cares about their clients, and wants to win. Simply put, you will prospect and visit potential customers, offer solutions, and close the deal to drive customer satisfaction and company revenue. This is a field-based role requiring significant travel serving industrial automation customers in the automotive and manufacturing sectors. Job Functions

• Prospect, visit, and develop relationships with new and existing customers to generate new business opportunities

• Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers

• Reach agreed-upon sales targets by established deadlines, performing at a high level with limited supervision in a remote capacity

• Develop and execute commercial business strategies to expand the company’s brand and market presence

• Create professional sales materials and technical presentations tailored to customer needs

• Proactively conduct research on potential clients and identify industry marketing opportunities

• Set follow-up appointments and keep customers informed of the company’s latest developments

This position focuses on the Tire Industry, selling Tire Uniformity and Tire Testing Machines to major tire manufacturers across North America. Candidates must have an existing network and be actively selling within the Tire Industry today. Company’s technical team is in Bremen, Germany. An initial 2-week training trip to Germany will be required.

Segment-Specific Job Functions

• Sell Tire Uniformity and Tire Testing Machines into Production and R&D level installations at major tire manufacturers

• Develop and grow relationships within key accounts including Goodyear, Cooper, Bridgestone, Continental, Michelin, Pirelli, Toyo, Maxxis International, Kuhmo, Nitto, Yokohama, Giti, and all major Tire Manufacturers

• Manage and grow a North American territory while coordinating with HQ in Bremen, Germany

Segment-Specific Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience specifically within the Tire Manufacturing and Testing Industry

• Must have an existing network and be currently selling within the Tire Industry

• Familiarity with Tire Uniformity and Tire Test Machines. Production and R&D level installations preferred

• Remote position. Local to North or South Carolina preferred, Eastern Time Zone preferred

• Expected North American travel of 25–35% or as needed; primarily US with some international

• Valid US Driver’s License and Passport required; personal vehicle required (mileage reimbursed by company)

• German language skills are a plus but not required
