Remote Tire Manufacturing information

What is remote tire manufacturing?

Remote tire manufacturing refers to the process of overseeing, managing, or supporting tire production operations from a location outside of the physical manufacturing facility. This can involve using digital tools, automation, and remote monitoring technologies to coordinate production, quality control, and logistics. Remote roles in tire manufacturing may include process engineers, quality assurance specialists, IT support, or supply chain coordinators who leverage software and connected devices to ensure efficient operations without being on-site.

What are some common challenges faced by professionals in remote tire manufacturing roles, and how can they be addressed?

Professionals in remote tire manufacturing often face challenges related to communication, coordination with on-site teams, and ensuring quality control from a distance. It's important to establish clear channels for real-time collaboration, utilize digital monitoring tools, and regularly review production data to maintain high standards. Proactively seeking feedback and staying updated on the latest manufacturing technologies can also help remote workers remain effective and connected with their teams.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in remote tire manufacturing, and why are they important?

To thrive in Remote Tire Manufacturing, you need a solid understanding of tire production processes, quality control, and safety regulations, often supported by a background in manufacturing or engineering. Familiarity with manufacturing execution systems (MES), remote monitoring technologies, and industry-standard certifications such as Six Sigma or OSHA safety training is typically required. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication are crucial soft skills for coordinating with onsite teams and maintaining product quality from a distance. These skills ensure efficient operations, high-quality output, and seamless collaboration despite working remotely.

Job description

About Squint
Our mission is to accelerate human potential.
Squint is the Industrial AI company that turns operating knowledge into action. Our technology serves Fortune 500 leaders across manufacturing, field services, and utilities. Companies such as PepsiCo, Continental Tire, and Tenneco use Squint to capture and activate their essential tribal knowledge, standards docs, and OT data into procedures, orchestrated work, and context for AI agents to act on.
Some things to know about us:
  • We are obsessed with our customers, and they'll tell you so themselves.
  • We raised a $40M Series B in 2025, backed by elite investors including Sequoia Capital, Menlo Ventures, TCV and The Westly Group.
  • Fast Company named us to their Most Innovative Companies list in 2025 and 2026.
  • We were named to Built In's Best Startups to Work for in SF list.
  • Read more about us in Upstarts Media, Fortune, Forbes, and more.

About the Role
We're hiring our first Content Marketing Lead to advance our brand narrative and extend our voice across multiple channels.
The ingredients of Squint's narrative are a marketer's dream: evocative customer stories, dazzling visuals of factories, and an AI native platform that's delivering measurable value to some of the most influential Fortune 500 companies in manufacturing and field services.
In short: we have attention-grabbing stories to tell. The Content Marketing Lead will tell them in ways that break through and command attention.
What You'll Do
You will be a fullstack content marketer: your primary output will be exceptional writing, but you'll also be a self-starting whiz who can create their own video clips and visual assets. You will:
  • Advance the Squint narrative across channels: You'll be the primary creator of content that grows Squint's reach and relevance. You will work across shortform (social, website) and longform (case studies, blog), and create the supporting assets you need to grab attention.
  • Find the raw material to build the brand: Killer customer win? New feature going live? Fun fact from a factory floor? You'll be continuously gathering inspiration and turning it into multi-channel content series that evolve Squint's brand. This work will have a measurable impact on Squint's reach and engagement in both industrial audiences and the AI community.
  • Extend exec voices: You'll help Squint execs produce social content, longform posts, and talktracks for speaking engagements. You'll know how to authentically channel their perspectives and voices; how to select topics that will get attention; and how to ensure that, across it all, Squint has a clear and consistent story.
  • Make lotsa content, in lotsa shapes: This is a writing job, but it's more than a writing job. It bears repeating that applicants should have exceptional writing chops, but also fluency across AI-enabled design tools (Canva, Figma) and video editing tools (Descript, Screen Studio).

About you
  • You write with precision, clarity, and intention (even when the words, themselves, seem effortlessly casual).
  • You have proven methods for learning about customers-their motivations, pain points, and trust signals-because you understand how critical this is to your success.
  • You also know the whims of the channels and the algorithms: you know how to optimize for each one, to increase reach, engagement, and impact.
  • You love to collaborate, because you know that good briefs and outside eyes are critical for delivering strong content.
  • Pre-existing familiarity with industrial operations is an asset in this role. We will give candidates who have lived and worked in industrial spaces extra consideration.

What You'll Bring
  • A portfolio that demonstrates strong writing across formats: longform and short, market-facing and customer-facing. It shows good creative judgement, and some range.
  • A proven approach to audience understanding-so you know how to develop content that will resonate; and audience-building-so your content extends a brand's reach and relevance.
  • Experience at a startup, where you were making creative and strategic decisions (not just executing someone else's brief).
  • A POV on quality. You know how to hold the bar high, but also right-size for speed, channel, and experimentation.
Benefits
We are open to remote outside the Bay Area. Our SF-based team members work from our office, where we love the energy of in-person collaboration.
  • Competitive Salary and Equity
  • Comprehensive Medical, Vision, and Dental care
  • Flexible PTO Policy
  • Lunch and Dinner Service
  • Wellness Benefit
  • Maven Family Planning Benefits
  • Partnership with Care.com
  • Mental Health Services
  • 401(k) Retirement Plan
  • Pre-Tax Commuter Benefit for Parking & Public Transit
  • Company-wide Retreats
  • Subsidized Uber to and from the office

A Final Note
We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace. Squint is an equal opportunity employer, welcoming applicants from all backgrounds without regard to race, gender, age, or any other protected characteristic. We encourage you to apply even if you're not quite sure you fit all the requirements for the role!
Ready to redefine the future? Join us at Squint and be a part of something revolutionary.
