Work Environment

The work setting is primarily onsite at our rehabilitation facility in Moreno Valley, California, where you will interact with patients daily in a collaborative team environment. Our facility is designed to instill comfort and encourage therapeutic progress, fostering an atmosphere ripe for healing. The supportive culture among team members facilitates open communication and teamwork, ensuring all staff engage in shared goals concerning patient wellness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations to identify physical impairments, functional limitations, and potential barriers to recovery, formulating tailored rehabilitation plans based on each patient's unique needs.
  • Provide one-on-one treatment sessions where you engage with patients effectively, managing a patient caseload of approximately one individual per hour.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to implement rehabilitation interventions across a variety of treatment modalities, focusing on enhancing patients' range of motion and overall mobility.
  • Design and modify individualized exercise and wellness programs that are adaptable according to patient progress and evolving goals.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals such as physicians, occupational therapists, and nurses to ensure comprehensive and seamless care for your patients.
  • Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using EMR Software, particularly WebPT, ensuring all treatment sessions and patient progress are tracked reliably.
  • Motivate and encourage patients to maintain active involvement in their rehabilitation processes, emphasizing the importance of adherence to prescribed exercises and lifestyle modifications.
  • Evaluate treatment outcomes systematically and adjust care plans accordingly to foster continuous improvement and effectiveness.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with orthopedic patients recovering from surgical procedures, injuries, and chronic conditions. As part of our patient-centered approach, you will help individuals ranging from athletes to elderly clients regain their functional independence. Your compassion and expertise will be essential in reducing discomfort, providing alternatives to medications, and facilitating their return to daily activities.

Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree or Doctorate (DPT) in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
  • A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California, with no history of board or disciplinary actions against your license.
  • Strong proficiency in hands-on manual therapy techniques, as well as the ability to develop and implement effective exercise protocols.
  • Experience with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, to manage patient records efficiently.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting, where expertise in diagnosing and treating various musculoskeletal conditions is essential.
  • A background in developing fitness and wellness programs for a diverse patient population would be advantageous.
  • Familiarity with advanced rehabilitation technologies and treatment modalities, including aquatic therapy, soft tissue mobilization, and post-surgical rehabilitation techniques.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer an attractive compensation package with a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
