Position Overview

Muscle Mastery Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team at our Rehabilitation Center located in Charlottesville, Virginia. This vital role involves working directly with patients to assess their needs, create tailored rehabilitation plans, and deliver hands-on therapy to help them regain their strength and mobility. The Physical Therapist will play a key role in enhancing patient outcomes and contributing to the overarching goal of our facility: restoring clients to optimum physical health.

Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will work onsite in our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center, which is designed to support diverse rehabilitation needs. Key Responsibilities
  • Direct the planning and implementation of personalized physical therapy programs aimed at preventing disability, relieving pain, and restoring muscle function based on individual patient assessments.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' functional capabilities and mobility levels using evidence-based diagnostic techniques.
  • Design and monitor treatment plans that include manual therapeutic exercises, and provide instruction and motivation to clients for their non-manual exercise programs.
  • Administer various physical therapy modalities, including traction and massage, while educating patients on their application.
  • Evaluate and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices as needed, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals when modifications are necessary.
  • Document all processes meticulously, including initial evaluations, progression notes, and discharge summaries, to maintain accurate clinical records.
  • Participate in case conferences with interdisciplinary team members to address patient progress and adapt treatment plans accordingly.
  • Provide guidance and instruction to Physical Therapy Assistants and ensure they are executing care plans correctly under your supervision.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time position ranges between USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
