• Conduct thorough assessments to understand each client’s mental health background, challenges, and goals, tailoring interventions to meet their specific needs.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic methodologies, including cognitive-behavioral techniques, to inspire positive change and coping strategies.

• Perform crisis intervention when necessary, allowing for prompt and compassionate responses to urgent mental health issues.

Our clients at Inner Solace come from diverse backgrounds and face a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and relationship issues. As a Mental Health Counselor, you will work closely with adult clients, addressing their unique concerns within a safe and empathetic environment. Your role is pivotal in helping clients navigate their mental health journeys and cultivate resilience.

• A current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to build rapport and trust with clients and colleagues.
• Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude in client interactions.
• Proficient organizational and time management skills to handle a diverse caseload efficiently.
• A clean disciplinary record with the licensing board is necessary to maintain professional integrity.

• Experience in providing teletherapy services is highly desirable, as it aligns with our remote service delivery model.
• Specialized training in trauma-informed care or substance use treatment can enhance your effectiveness in this role.
• Prior experience in community health settings or outpatient clinics will be beneficial for understanding the diverse needs of our client base.
