Job description

Zurich is seeking a motivated, results-oriented, and dynamic Claims Call Center Supervisor to join our virtual inbound call center team in North America. This is a U.S. based virtual role with a preference of being located in a state in the Pacific, Mountain or Central time zones.

In this role, you will lead a group of Customer Care Professionals (CCPs), providing front-line supervision and guidance.ย  Your primary objective will be to drive exceptional team performance while ensuring the delivery of outstanding customer service.ย

Responsibilities will include:

  • Driving superior customer service through effective leadership, technical support, issue resolution, and reporting on key metrics
  • Meeting customer service targets and adhering to best practice protocols
  • Driving performance by setting expectations, monitoring results, providing feedback, and supporting employee development in line with company policies.
  • Ensuring transparent communication by sharing organizational information with the team through meetings, one on ones, emails and regular interactions.
  • Protecting Zurichs reputation by maintaining confidentiality of claims information
  • Supporting team objectives by achieving results and participating in projects as needed
  • Extended Hours during Peak Periods, as required

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 2 or more years of experience in the Claims or Administrative area
    OR
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 4 or more years of experience in the Administrative area
    OR
  • Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 2 or more years of experience in the Claims or Administrative area]AND
  • Customer service experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and application of workforce management tools
  • Leadership, management, supervisor or training experience
  • Intermediate Microsoft skills
  • Project management experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Your pay at Zurich is based on your role, location, skills, and experience. We follow local laws to ensure fair compensation. You may also be eligible for bonuses and merit increases. If your expectations are above the listed range, we still encourage you to apply-your unique background matters to us. The pay range shown is a national average and may vary by location. The proposed Salary range for this position is $54,500.00 - $89,200.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 10%.
