Speech-Language Pathologist – Remote (Central Wisconsin) Testing and Assessment

Position Summary

The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) provides remote assessment and diagnostic services for individuals with speech, language, communication, cognitive-communication, voice, fluency, and related disorders. This position focuses primarily on conducting comprehensive evaluations, interpreting assessment results, preparing diagnostic reports, and collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to support treatment planning and recommendations.

Services are delivered through telehealth platforms, requiring proficiency in remote assessment administration, technology utilization, and effective virtual communication with clients, families, and referral sources. This position may be structured as either part-time or full-time based on organizational needs and candidate availability.

Essential ResponsibilitiesAssessment and Diagnostic Services
  • Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations through telehealth platforms utilizing standardized and informal assessment tools.
  • Administer, score, and interpret assessment measures in accordance with test publisher guidelines and professional standards.
  • Evaluate speech, language, articulation, fluency, voice, pragmatic language, cognitive-communication, and other communication-related concerns.
  • Formulate diagnostic impressions and recommendations based on assessment findings.
  • Prepare timely, accurate, and comprehensive evaluation reports.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to clients, families, caregivers, and referral sources.
Collaboration and Consultation
  • Collaborate with psychologists, therapists, physicians, educators, and other professionals to support coordinated care.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary case consultations and team meetings.
  • Provide consultation regarding communication needs, accommodations, and treatment recommendations.
Documentation and Compliance
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, telehealth regulations, organizational policies, and professional ethical standards.
  • Complete all required documentation within established timeframes.
Professional Responsibilities
  • Maintain current licensure, certifications, and continuing education requirements.
  • Remain current on evidence-based assessment practices and telehealth service delivery standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and program development activities as requested.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current state Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFY candidates may be considered.
  • Experience administering standardized speech-language assessments.
  • Experience with telehealth service delivery preferred.
