Place of Grace Behavioral Health Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Telehealth Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our remote team. This role is fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home while engaging in meaningful interactions with clients via telehealth. You will be provided with all necessary tools to deliver excellent care, such as access to a secure electronic health record system and video conferencing platforms designed for healthcare professionals. • Conduct thorough mental health evaluations and document detailed case histories from initial consultations through to the established treatment plan.
• Design and implement personalized treatment and intervention strategies for individuals, couples, families, and groups.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic techniques tailored to client needs.
• Monitor ongoing client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on measurable outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and nurses, to develop comprehensive intervention plans.
• Maintain effective communication with healthcare professionals and follow up with any care providers involved in the client's treatment.
• Identify potential barriers to recovery and develop strategies to overcome them, ensuring ongoing client engagement in the therapeutic process.
• Support family members and primary caregivers in understanding and managing mental and behavioral health challenges exhibited by the client.

Our client population includes a wide range of individuals experiencing various mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. With a focus on culturally competent care, we ensure that our counselors are equipped to work with diverse backgrounds, appreciating the unique experiences and perspectives that each client brings to the therapeutic space.

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Possession of a current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A passing score on relevant national examinations, such as the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
• Demonstrated experience as a mental health counselor, with a strong foundation in counseling techniques and therapeutic methodologies.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, specifically AVATAR or similar platforms.
• Experience in treating clients with comorbid physical and emotional health conditions and/or substance use disorders.
• Knowledge of the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices and ethical guidelines relevant to mental healthcare.
• Understanding of pharmacotherapies and the effects of medications prescribed by medical specialists in relation to mental health treatment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients and colleagues.
• A proactive, empathetic, and adaptive approach to client care, ensuring relatability and trust.

The compensation package for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, reflecting the depth of experience and professional qualifications.
