Work Environment

This position operates within a 100% remote framework, freeing you from the constraints of a traditional office environment while promoting a healthy work-life balance. You will have the flexibility to set your working hours, with expectations to be available Monday through Friday between 9 AM and 5 PM. There is no on-call work required, providing you a stable work setting focused on providing quality care during standard business hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one video counseling sessions with clients, utilizing telehealth platforms to facilitate effective communication and support.
• Encourage open discussions about clients’ emotions, thoughts, and personal experiences, helping them gain insights that will empower their self-awareness and relationship dynamics.
• Act as a client advocate, guiding them in defining attainable goals and objectives through collaborative discussions.
• Assess clients' mental health statuses, creating tailored treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and client-centered approaches that utilize your clinical knowledge.
• Monitor and document client progress, making adjustments to treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, or mindfulness-based techniques, as appropriate.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on low-acuity adults who are generally stable but require support for various mental health needs. This population may include individuals dealing with mild anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. The goal is to provide holistic, personalized care that respects each client’s unique circumstances and promotes empowerment.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• An independent license to practice, such as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Strong proficiency in digital communication tools and online therapeutic platforms.
• An understanding of telehealth best practices and regulations.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in a remote counseling setting is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of solution-focused and evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with clients via video and other telecommunication tools.

Compensation and Benefits
