Job description

Our client is a leading manufacturer and supplier of battery and power solutions serving telecommunications, UPS, traffic, utility, and critical infrastructure markets across North America.

We are seeking a National Account Manager to drive growth within established and emerging accounts across the reserve power and standby power industry.

This role is ideal for a sales professional with experience selling batteries, DC power systems, UPS solutions, telecom power equipment, or other technical products into mission-critical environments.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow relationships with national accounts, distributors, OEMs, and channel partners
  • Drive new business development within telecommunications, UPS, traffic, utility, and reserve power markets
  • Own the sales process from prospecting through close
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing customer relationships and market share
  • Deliver product training and technical presentations to customers and partners
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings
  • Maintain CRM activity, pipeline forecasts, and account plans
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, customer service, and leadership teams to support customer success

Qualifications
    • 5+ years of B2B sales experience
    • Experience selling batteries, power systems, UPS solutions, telecom infrastructure, DC power systems, or other technical products
    • Experience managing customer relationships across multiple regions or national accounts
    • Strong business development and account management skills
    • Ability to understand and communicate technical products and solutions
    • Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
    • Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely with regular travel
  • Preferred Experience
    Experience selling into one or more of the following markets:
    • Telecommunications
    • UPS and critical power
    • Reserve power systems
    • Industrial batteries
    • Utility power
    • Data centers
    • Critical infrastructure
