Owensboro Mental & Health Wellness Clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our teletherapy team in Nashville, Tennessee. • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental and emotional health, focusing on individual and relational dynamics.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that address clients' unique circumstances, collaborating closely with clients to ensure their goals and feedback are integrated.
• Facilitate individual and couples therapy sessions aimed at addressing a broad spectrum of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and relationship conflicts.
• Regularly review and adapt treatment approaches based on ongoing assessments of client progress, ensuring interventions remain effective and aligned with clients’ evolving needs.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of client interactions, including progress notes and treatment modifications in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Engage with interdisciplinary teams of healthcare professionals to ensure that all aspects of a client's care are considered and addressed.
• Prepare to intervene during crisis situations, providing immediate support and resources to clients experiencing acute distress.
• Stay abreast of developments in the field of marriage and family therapy, participating in ongoing professional education to enhance therapeutic skills.
• Advocate for clients, empowering them to make informed decisions regarding their therapeutic journey and providing access to additional support services as necessary.

The clients you will serve range from adolescents to adults, including individuals seeking personal counseling and couples looking to strengthen their relationships. Each client presents unique challenges and opportunities for growth, requiring an adaptive and personalized therapeutic approach. • A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a closely related discipline is required.
• Possess active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist issued by the State Board.
• Demonstrated experience in providing individual and/or couples therapy is essential.
• Proficient writing and communication skills; familiarity with electronic health records systems will be beneficial.

• Experience working with both children and adults is a plus.
• Prior engagement in crisis intervention or therapy in a remote setting is advantageous.
• An understanding of evidenced-based therapy techniques and treatment modalities.

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
