About the Role
We're looking for a creative, detail-oriented Social Media Video Editor to join our Creator Growth team and produce high-performing short-form content for some of the world's leading creators.
This role is responsible for transforming content into engaging short-form videos optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. You'll edit a wide variety of content including organic social posts, sponsored brand collaborations, campaign deliverables, podcasts, and creator marketing assets.
The ideal candidate has an exceptional understanding of short-form storytelling, audience retention, platform trends, and the editing techniques that drive millions of views. You know how to capture attention in the first few seconds while maintaining each creator's unique voice, style, and brand identity.
Core Responsibilities
  • Transform long-form videos into engaging, high-performing short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Edit a variety of creator content including organic social posts, sponsored brand collaborations, campaign deliverables, and other marketing assets.
  • Identify compelling moments, craft strong hooks, and optimize pacing to maximize audience retention and engagement.
  • Add captions, motion graphics, transitions, music, sound effects, and other creative enhancements that elevate content performance.
  • Maintain each creator's unique editing style, tone, and brand identity while ensuring content aligns with brand partner requirements.
  • Stay on top of platform trends, viral editing styles, trending audio, and best practices across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
  • Collaborate with creators, Creator Managers, Creator Growth, and internal teams to implement feedback and deliver high-quality creative.
  • Organize project files, video assets, and editing workflows while managing multiple creators and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards, platform specifications, and campaign timelines.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve editing processes, creative quality, and content performance.

Experience Required
Required
  • 2+ years of professional experience editing short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Proven experience editing content for influencers, digital creators, brands, or creator-focused businesses.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent professional editing software.
  • Strong understanding of social media storytelling, audience retention, platform optimization, and current editing trends.

Nice to Have
  • Experience working at an influencer marketing agency, talent management company, or creator-focused business.
  • Experience editing content within lifestyle, fashion, beauty, home, wellness, parenting, or entertainment verticals.
