Silver Wing Counseling Center is excited to announce an opening for a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. This full-time position offers the flexibility of a remote work environment, allowing you to provide high-quality mental health services to clients through telehealth platforms. As a licensed mental health professional, you will play a crucial role in assessing clients’ mental health statuses, formulating personalized treatment plans, and guiding them through their therapeutic journey.

This position is designed for a telehealth setting, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home or any location that suits you best. You will utilize secure online platforms to conduct virtual therapy sessions, communicate with clients, and maintain electronic health records (EHR). • Conduct initial assessments with clients to evaluate their mental health status and refer them to appropriate ancillary services when necessary.
• Design and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each client's unique needs, considering their personal goals and challenges.
• Facilitate regular follow-up sessions via telehealth, providing ongoing support, feedback, and coping strategies to help clients manage their mental health issues.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including CBT, DBT, and mindfulness techniques, to guide clients through their treatment journey.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate electronic health records, documenting client progress and treatment interventions in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Conduct group therapy sessions, fostering a supportive environment for clients to share experiences and learn from one another.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to develop coordinated care plans and ensure the best patient outcomes.

Your role will involve working with a diverse client population facing issues such as substance abuse, anxiety, depression, trauma, and eating disorders. The clients you support will benefit from your expertise in addressing their unique challenges in a collaborative and compassionate manner. Our approach is culturally responsive, ensuring that therapy is tailored to meet the different backgrounds and experiences of our clients.

• A master's or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current, valid licensure in Oregon as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of four years of direct clinical experience in a mental health setting with proven competency in individual and group therapy.
• A deep understanding of mental health disorders and treatment approaches, coupled with strong cultural competence in therapy.
• Excellent crisis intervention skills and the capacity to remain composed and effective in challenging situations.
• Proficient in using electronic health record systems and telehealth technologies to enhance client care.
• Demonstrated commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and adhering to ethical guidelines.
• A collaborative spirit and strong communication skills, crucial for working alongside a multidisciplinary team.

• Experience in delivering culturally responsive therapy approaches and working effectively with diverse populations.
• Familiarity with contemporary telehealth practices and relevant technologies to improve client interaction.
• Experience in conducting client assessments and developing comprehensive treatment plans.
• Previous work in a remote capacity is a plus.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer:
