This position is remote, with the flexibility to work from your own space while utilizing advanced telehealth technology to deliver care. • Conduct supportive individual therapy sessions via video conferencing, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment.
• Develop and maintain detailed case notes and documentation that reflect patient progress toward treatment goals by the end of each shift.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the multidisciplinary treatment team to coordinate care effectively.
• Provide professional support to patients experiencing challenges, ensuring they are appropriately assessed and directed toward the most beneficial therapeutic pathways.
• Advocate for patients needing specific services based on their situations and treatment needs, fostering their overall growth and healing.
• Respond to patient crises with appropriate interventions, maintaining clear communication with the nursing staff as required.
• Utilize your knowledge of the DSM-5 for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning, and to tailor therapy that addresses individual needs.
• Educate and orient patients and their family members about treatment plans, reinforcing understanding and engagement.

This role will primarily serve a diverse range of clients, including adults, children, and families who often face complex challenges. You will provide insights and support to help navigate various life situations—from personal struggles to relational dynamics—facilitating their journey toward mental health and wellness in a remote context.

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Licensure as an LPCC, LCSW, LMFT, or PsyD in California is a must.
• At least two years of post-licensure clinical experience, engaging with diverse populations and a variety of mental health concerns.
• Strong understanding of diagnosis and treatment principles according to the DSM-5.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with clients and collaborate with team members effectively.
• A demonstrated ability to work independently as well as synergistically within a remote team framework.
• Comfortable adapting to flexible schedules that may change based on client needs.
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems to ensure efficient patient tracking and documentation.

• Experience in family and marriage therapy, especially with clients from varied cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Previous exposure to telehealth practices and technology for counseling.
• Ability to handle crisis situations with poise and effectiveness.
