This remote position offers full-time flexibility, allowing you to manage your schedule according to your availability. You'll use a state-of-the-art therapy platform as your private online office, which enables you to conduct live sessions through video and text messaging, thus creating a comfortable space for your clients without the constraints of a traditional office setting.

As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day activities will include:

• Conducting individual counseling sessions with clients via secure video chat to enhance their mental health and emotional well-being.
• Encouraging clients to express their thoughts and feelings, facilitating open discussions that lead to deeper self-insight and understanding of their relationships.
• Acting as a client advocate, working collaboratively to help them define their therapeutic goals and aspirations.
• Assessing clients’ mental health conditions and developing, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based treatment plans tailored to their specific needs and goals.

You will primarily work with carefully screened clients who are stable adults with low mental health acuity. Our screening process ensures that you will not encounter severe mental health cases, allowing you to focus on providing impactful support to your clientele. Moreover, we align clients with your specialties and demographic preferences, enhancing your ability to connect meaningfully with those you support.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or Psychology.
• A valid and unrestricted state license to practice independently as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Strong interpersonal skills and a sympathetic nature, essential for fostering trust and rapport with clients.
• Proficiency in technology and computer literacy to navigate the online therapy platform and documentation efficiently.

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in telehealth counseling, specific therapeutic modalities, or specializations in areas such as trauma, anxiety, or depression will be viewed favorably. Additionally, demonstrated ability in managing a diverse caseload effectively will enhance your application.

We offer a competitive compensation structure ranging from USD 50,000 to 70,000 per year, commensurate with your working hours and caseload. Additional benefits include:
