Location:
Tri-State Area (PA / NJ / DE) – Hybrid / Field-Based

Overview:
Join an established mechanical systems company as an Outside Sales Engineer, stepping into a pre-built territory with an active prospect list and inside sales support.

This role is ideal for someone with HVAC, plumbing, or mechanical systems experience who wants to grow revenue, build relationships, and become a trusted advisor to engineers and contractors.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage and grow a defined territory across the tri-state area

  • Work from an existing list of prospects and active opportunities

  • Build relationships with engineers, contractors, and customers

  • Conduct onsite visits, product demos, and technical presentations

  • Recommend mechanical/HVAC solutions based on customer needs

  • Partner with inside sales team to support and expand accounts

Required Experience (MUST HAVE):

  • Experience in HVAC, mechanical systems, plumbing, or building systems

  • 3+ years in technical sales, outside sales, or field engineering

  • Ability to understand specs, drawings, and system requirements

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Preferred (NOT REQUIRED):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

  • Experience selling to contractors, engineers, or distributors

  • Background in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) environments

This is not a software or IT sales role. Candidates must have experience with physical mechanical systems or equipment.
