  • Manage the full lifecycle of permitting activities for telecom longhaul projects, including privateproperty facilities and associated public rightofway requirements

  • Prepare, submit, track, and monitor accurate permit packages with local, state, and federal authorities to ensure timely approvals

  • Present projects to neighborhood committees and represent the organization at public hearings before governing bodies to obtain required permits

  • Coordinate closely with engineering, construction, and stakeholders to maintain compliance with codes, ordinances, regulatory updates, and project timelines

  • Serve as the primary contact for permitting inquiries, proactively resolving issues to avoid delays and keep project progress on track

Qualifications:
  • 2-5 years of permitting or regulatory compliance experience in telecom, utilities, construction, or similar regulated industries

  • Demonstrated ability to prepare and submit permit packages and interpret zoning, building codes, ordinances, DOT, and multijurisdictional regulations

  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents including blueprints and engineering plans, plus understanding of outside plant design and telecom standards

  • Strong communication and publicspeaking skills, with experience presenting to community groups and governing bodies

  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, scheduling tools, and the ability to research regulatory updates; Quick Base familiarity is a plus

Working Conditions:

  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed to coordinate with agencies, attend meetings, or support project sites

  • We're thrilled to announce the opening of our new office in Florence, Kentucky soon to become our central hub for collaboration and growth. This role will begin as a remote (work-from-home) position and will transition to a full-time, in-office role based in Florence once the new location is operational.
