You'll play an integral part in the sales lifecycle, supporting Sales in defining Akamai AI Inference and GPU solutions. You'll architect new and custom projects with some of the worlds most innovative companies.

As a Senior Technical Solution Architect, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting Akamai Large Strategic GPU and AI inference projects.
  • Driving new customer acquisition, support sales and marketing go-to-market initiatives. Direct customer engagement is required.
  • Leading solution and product innovation initiatives. Evangelizing local use cases/technology trends and influencing the product roadmap.
  • Building technical thought-leadership in Akamai AI inference and GPU offerings to support overall Akamai business growth.
  • Designing large GPU clusters to meet customer AI Inference and training needs.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have 8 years of relevant experience and a bachelor's degree 
  • Have experience working in a customer facing technical role with a public cloud either Hyperscale or Neo Cloud
  • Possess multiple certifications from AWS/GCP/Azure.
  • Demonstrate experience designing, developing, or maintaining multi-tier distributed application architectures including cloud-native, hybrid cloud, and multi-cloud.
  • Demonstrate experience designing/developing/maintaining solutions leveraging open source/core software across load balancing, web services, databases, CI/CD, and observability.
  • Demonstrate experience with Kubernetes and related containerization technologies, i.e. registries, container runtimes, container networking, and container storage.
  • Demonstrate experience architecting complex GPU and AI workloads, including GPU clusters, for model training and execution.
  • Demonstrate cloud basics across CLI tools, SDKs, and automation tools like Ansible, Salt, and Terraform.

Compensation

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For US based candidates only - the base salary for this position ranges from $108,900 - $226,100/year; a candidate's salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
