Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Technical Program Manager - Compute Systems Engineering based in Netherlands.

As a Technical Program Manager, you will lead the coordination of complex engineering initiatives that power next-generation AI and high-performance cloud infrastructure. Working at the intersection of hardware, software, and cloud operations, you will drive cross-functional programs that enable scalable, reliable, and high-performing compute platforms. You will collaborate with engineering teams, infrastructure specialists, external technology partners, and business stakeholders to manage dependencies, mitigate risks, and improve execution across large-scale technical projects. This role offers the opportunity to shape mission-critical infrastructure in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment where innovation, ownership, and technical excellence are at the core of every initiative.

Accountabilities
  • Coordinate complex technical programs across multiple engineering teams, ensuring alignment on priorities, milestones, ownership, and delivery timelines.
  • Manage cross-functional dependencies involving software engineering, hardware engineering, infrastructure, cloud operations, customer support, and external technology partners.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate technical and operational risks while driving programs toward measurable outcomes.
  • Establish and continuously improve program management processes, workflows, documentation, and execution frameworks to support organizational growth.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to support infrastructure deployments, platform evolution, and large-scale hardware integration initiatives.
  • Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders, providing clear program updates and ensuring alignment across teams.
  • Contribute directly to operational improvements, issue resolution, documentation, and process optimization when required.
  • Support the successful delivery of large-scale infrastructure programs by bringing structure, transparency, and accountability to technically complex initiatives.
Requirements
  • Approximately 5-10 years of experience managing complex technical programs in software, infrastructure, cloud computing, or related engineering environments.
  • Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional projects involving multiple technical teams while managing dependencies, priorities, and risks.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, operations, business, customers, and external partners.
  • Strong technical curiosity and the ability to understand complex infrastructure, systems architecture, and engineering concepts.
  • Outstanding organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail when managing long-term technical initiatives and multiple stakeholders.
  • Creative and analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to improve, redesign, and streamline operational processes.
  • Hands-on mindset with a willingness to contribute beyond coordination through documentation, process development, issue investigation, and operational support.
  • Experience working with cloud computing, high-performance computing (HPC), AI infrastructure, accelerated computing, or other large-scale distributed systems is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Linux, virtualization technologies, firmware development, device drivers, or systems-level engineering processes is considered a strong advantage.
Benefits
  • Competitive compensation package.
  • Flexible remote working options within Europe, with access to modern international office locations.
  • Excellent career growth and continuous learning opportunities.
  • High level of ownership and autonomy in driving strategic engineering initiatives.
  • Collaborative, innovative, and engineering-focused work culture.
  • Opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge AI infrastructure and large-scale cloud technologies.
