What is a remote technical producer?

A Remote Technical Producer is a professional responsible for coordinating and managing the technical aspects of virtual events, broadcasts, or productions from a remote location. They handle tasks such as organizing virtual meetings, managing streaming platforms, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring that all audio, video, and interactive elements run smoothly. This role often involves collaborating with creative teams, event organizers, and IT staff to deliver seamless online experiences. Remote Technical Producers use various software and hardware tools to facilitate live or pre-recorded content, making them essential for high-quality virtual productions.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a remote technical producer?

To thrive as a Remote Technical Producer, you need expertise in live event production, familiarity with streaming protocols, and a solid understanding of audio/visual technology, often supported by a relevant degree or certifications. Proficiency with tools like OBS, vMix, Zoom, and project management platforms is typically required. Strong organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication are crucial soft skills for coordinating remote teams and troubleshooting on the fly. These competencies ensure seamless technical execution and collaborative success in the fast-paced environment of virtual events.

As a Remote Technical Producer, close collaboration with teams across different locations is essential for the success of live events. You will coordinate with event managers, presenters, audio-visual technicians, and sometimes clients, using tools like Slack, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams to communicate real-time updates and troubleshoot issues. Job description

ABOUT US
ARRISE is a global leader in software development and services for the iGaming industry, powered by 11,000+ professionals spanning multiple disciplines and 14 locations worldwide.
At ARRISE, we know a thing or two about making great games. From concept to execution, we combine creativity with technical excellence to shape the future of player engagement, driving our business and industry forward.
Our teams plan, prepare, and produce every title in a packed multi-product roadmap, having created over 1,800 slots to date. Game artists, developers, mathematicians, sound technicians, product marketers, regulatory experts, and other stakeholders from across the business all work together on delivering new player favorites at scale and pace.
ARRISE USA represents our growing footprint in one of the world’s most dynamic tech and entertainment markets. With a remote team of product experts, we’re tapping into American talent to drive the next generation of iGaming innovation.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re building a brand-new, US-based, fully remote game studio developing new slot games and we’re looking for an Associate Mathematician to help develop the math models that power our games.
In this role, you’ll work with an experienced Game Designer to create new slot game math models with high-performing mechanics, ensuring they are accurate, fair, and engaging.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
  • Define the mathematical profile of the game, including the game’s balance, volatility, and player experience
  • Create and maintain the game’s PAR sheets and other math documentation, using both Excel and simulations
  • Work closely with the Game Designer, prototyping team, and engineering team to ensure the math is implemented accurately and follows the overall game design
  • Playtest and iterate on your game’s math and mechanics with an eye toward creating the best player experience possible
  • Collaborate with other mathematicians to provide gameplay feedback and recommendations for improvement on each other’s games
  • Regularly play competitors’ games in the iGaming and land-based spaces to stay abreast of industry trends and new mechanics
WHAT WE ASK OF YOU
  • Strong interest in casino games, especially slots, in iGaming and land-based markets
  • Experience developing math models for real-money slot games is a plus
  • Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Expertise using Excel to model probabilities and perform data analysis
  • Familiarity programming in C++, C#, or Python
  • Excellent written communication skills, especially the ability to clearly communicate complex and technical concepts to stakeholders across the globe
  • Passion for games and learning industry trends, emerging game mechanics, and player expectations
  • You should:
    • Be comfortable moving between multiple projects while maintaining a high attention to detail
    • Bring strong organization and structure to a fast-moving environment
    • Have a passion for problem solving in complex systems
    • Obsess over detail and refinement
    • Provide, accept, and act on feedback constructively
