The IT/OT Program Manager is a key member of the global team responsible for the governance, architecture, and operational management of the Inductive Automation Ignition platform, ensuring standardized, secure, and scalable industrial data systems across all sites. This role bridges IT and OT by overseeing infrastructure, database architecture, version control, and system standards while supporting both legacy and modern Ignition deployments. Acting as a central interface between engineering, IT, and internal customers, the position enables reliable data collection, visualization, and sustained digital transformation through collaboration, remote site support, and global engagement.

Responsibilities
  • Global governance, architecture, and operation of the Inductive Automation Ignition platform across all sites
  • Define, implement, and enforce standards for Ignition architecture, project structure, version control, and deployment practices
  • Manage Ignition infrastructure, including server setup, configuration, performance, security, and lifecycle coordination with IT
  • Interface between IT/OT Group and DB Team managing historian architecture, data models, retention policies, and performance optimization
  • Support and guide development across both legacy and current Ignition versions, including Vision and Perspective modules
  • Collaborate on and support custom Ignition projects, shared templates, and global development initiatives
  • Define technical scope, architecture, and readiness criteria for new IT/OT and Ignitionbased projects
  • Serve as a primary interface between OT engineering systems, enterprise IT services, and cybersecurity teams
  • Act as a liaison between internal customers (manufacturing, engineering, operations) and IT/OT services
  • Provide remote technical support to global sites and support, international travel as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in industrial automation, IT/OT systems, process data automation or related fields
  • Managerial Experience
  • Linux and Windows OS , Server , VM , Data Communications protocol experience
  • Programming proficiency Inductive Automation Ignition Vision and Perspective modules and Python / Json
  • Relevant IT or industrial certifications (e.g., networking, virtualization, cybersecurity)
  • Travel required; Global support
  • Demonstrated strong collaboration, influence and project management skills
