Kratos Space Federal KSF is seeking an experienced Contract Technical Recruiter to support ongoing hiring needs across multiple technical functions. This role will focus on full cycle recruiting, sourcing in Space, Defense, and SATCOM roles. Delivering top technical talent and partnering closely with hiring managers to ensure an efficient and effective recruitment process.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage full-cycle recruiting for technical roles, including intake meetings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer coordination.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract highly skilled candidates across engineering, IT, and specialized technical disciplines.
• Build and maintain active pipelines using a variety of sourcing tools and methods, including LinkedIn, professional networks, Boolean searches, and social media platforms.
• Conduct targeted sourcing to identify, engage, and hire software engineers, systems engineers, and other specialized technical professionals.
• Recruit for niche SATCOM and Space-related roles, requiring a deep understanding of industry?specific skills and talent markets.
• Partner closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements, team dynamics, and organizational goals.
• Coordinate interviews, feedback, and candidate communication throughout the hiring process.
• Track recruiting activity and provide regular updates on search progress and market insights.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws while delivering an excellent candidate experience.


• Proven experience sourcing technical talent using LinkedIn, professional networks, Boolean searches, and a variety of social media tools.
• Demonstrated success sourcing, engaging, and hiring software engineers and systems engineers in cleared space.
• Strong experience recruiting for SATCOM and/or Space industry positions.
• Prior experience managing multiple technical requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder?management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to evolving hiring needs.
