Job description

Overview
Apogee has an opportunity for a Technical Consultant specializing in Finance Support to provide contractor site reachback for theM-Code Aviation Receivers Joint Program Office (MAR JPO). This position provides financial management expertise for studies and analysis tasks, manpower analysis, and acquisition support.
This is a full-time remote position with occasional travel to government sites.
Responsibilities
Financial Management Support:
  • Provide financial management expertise for acquisition planning
  • Develop cost estimates for programs and acquisition strategies
  • Support budget analysis and financial planning
  • Assist in Program Objective Memorandum (POM) development

Manpower Analysis:
  • Conduct manpower analysis and cost modeling
  • Develop financial estimates for manpower requirements
  • Support resource allocation analysis
  • Prepare cost comparisons and trade-off analyses

Studies & Analysis:
  • Execute financial and cost-related S&A tasks
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses
  • Support business case development
  • Prepare financial reports and documentation

Acquisition Support:
  • Support acquisition planning with cost analysis
  • Maintain financial data and tracking systems
  • Assist in cost estimate development for contracts
  • Review financial aspects of proposals and modifications

Qualifications
Minimum Experience:
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a TS/SCI level clearance
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
Years of Experience: 7 years of DoD financial management experience
Additional experience:
  • Knowledge of DoD financial management systems and processes
  • Experience with cost estimating and financial analysis
  • Understanding of Program Objective Memorandum (POM) process
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and financial modeling tools
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills

Preferred Experience:
Education: Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fieldYears of Experience: 5 years of DoD financial management experience

Location: Contractor Site (National - Remote)
Remote: This is a full-time remote position
Travel: Travel up to 15% may be required, per the customer's discretion
