Job description

Job Type:
Full time, W2
Location: REMOTE within the US
Compensation: $80,000- $100,000 DOE
*Must have CPA firm experience
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare individual and business tax returns. Ratio is about 60/40 individual to business. Limited multi-state.
  • Assist with off season projects such as tax projections, reasonable compensation studies, tax notice resolution.
  • Conduct tax research as needed
  • Handle client communications through portal messaging, phone calls, and video meetings
Qualifications
  • 10+years of recent tax experience in a public accounting firm
  • Prior experience and interest in working with offshore staff
  • Ability to work independently as well as the ability to work well with clients and team members
  • Past experience working in a fully remote workplace
  • Comfortable working directly with clients, explaining complex tax issues in easy-to-understand terms
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Technically strong
  • Enjoys working in a technology-friendly environment
