Job description

Work Schedule: 
This is a full-time, 1.0 FTE position that is 100% remote. Shifts will be scheduled Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM -4:30 PM.  Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. Applicants hired into this position can work from most states. This will be discussed during the interview process.

We are seeking a Health Information Management (HIM) Systems Analyst to: 

  • Perform System analysis, design, and implementation of software systems where applicable.
  • Provide support for internal and external contacts
  • Serve as liaison between stakeholders and vendor representatives during application research and design process. In addition, coordinate implementation of applications between user groups.
  • Prepare project documentation as defined by user documentation guidelines.
  • Utilize time tracking tools, as required by department to assure accurate project planning and budgeting needs.

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in healthcare related field. Two (2) years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree, in addition to the required experience below Required
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Work Experience

  • 2 years relevant experience Required
  • 2 years or more years lead level or trainer experience Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

  • Epic Certification within 180 Days Required
  • RHIA Preferred or
  • RHIT Preferred or
  • CPHIMS Preferred or
  • CAHIMS Preferred
