Job description

Role Snapshot

The Financial Reporting Analyst supports key financial and operational projects by performing reconciliations, managing financial information, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining bank information, delivering high-quality customer service, and providing technical expertise to test and implement system changes. The role ensures all procedures and workflows remain compliant with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) requirements.

19.00-23.00

Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, Wisconsin.

  • Balance transactions, analyze and resolve any variances, and research more complex accounts, including, but not limited to, bank accounts, receipts, disbursements, and transfer of funds.
  • Determine and analyze irregular trends involving financial transactions.
  • Assist customers concerning payments or any other issues.
  • Process Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) Agreements timely and accurately. Verify accuracy of submitted information. Contact providers, as needed, to obtain/verify required information.
  • Interact and communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Establish and maintain appropriate documentation associated with all procedures, policies, and activities and determine effective and efficient practices to improve current processes.
  • Participate in testing and/or implementation of system changes.
  • Other job-related responsibilities may be assigned as required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • One (1) or more years of experience working with accounting practices and procedures related to banking, financial accounting, analysis, balancing and reporting.
  • Demonstrated experience providing high quality work and meeting deadlines through prioritization.
  • Proven mathematical aptitude with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial processes.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets and financial systems; comfort with data entry and data validation.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
