The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for the administration, configuration, support, automation, and continuous improvement of The Trade Desk's global collaboration, productivity, and AI platforms. This role operates across a diverse portfolio of enterprise technologies including Microsoft 365, Slack, Zoom, Power Platform, AI productivity tools, and associated cloud services.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical administration skills with a passion for automation, end-user experience, operational excellence, and emerging technologies. This individual will help scale enterprise services globally while maintaining security, compliance, reliability, and governance standards.

The position requires a hands-on administrator who can troubleshoot complex issues, deliver technical projects, develop automation, document standards, and partner with stakeholders to maximize the value of our collaboration and AI technology investments.

What you'll do:

Collaboration & Productivity Systems
  • Administer and maintain enterprise collaboration platforms, including:
    • Microsoft 365
    • Exchange Online
    • SharePoint Online
    • OneDrive
    • Power Platform
    • Slack
    • Zoom Meetings, Webinars, Rooms, and Telephony
    • Smartsheet and other approved productivity solutions
  • Configure, manage, and maintain enterprise cloud applications and hosted services.
  • Ensure platform availability, performance, security, and operational excellence across supported services.
  • Manage enterprise cloud file storage, permissions, governance, and sharing controls.
  • Support meeting room technologies and collaborate on room standards and deployment strategies.
  • Evaluate, test, and recommend improvements to existing collaboration platforms and emerging technologies.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for improved productivity, automation, and user experience.
AI Systems & Automation
  • Administer enterprise AI productivity platforms and services, including:
    • Microsoft Copilot Chat
    • Power Platform AI capabilities
    • Slack AI integrations and agents
    • Zoom AI Companion
    • MCP Servers
  • Manage AI platform configuration, licensing, tenant administration, security settings, governance controls, and adoption reporting.
  • Support Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies and compliance requirements related to AI technologies.
  • Define and maintain standards for AI connectors, integrations, MCP frameworks, and approved enterprise AI workflows.
  • Support and maintain internally developed AI agents and productivity solutions, including ongoing enhancements and operational support.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable AI platform architectures aligned with enterprise governance and security requirements.
  • Assist with AI knowledge-sharing initiatives, prompt library management, and user enablement programs.
  • Partner with Learning & Development and business stakeholders to support AI education and adoption efforts.
Operations & Support
  • Provide escalation support for assigned technologies.
  • Participate in security incident response activities and remediation efforts.
  • Operationalize support processes that can be performed by IT Operations teams.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base content, standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain strong vendor relationships and participate in product roadmap discussions when appropriate.
  • Contribute as a technical resource to global IT projects and initiatives.
  • Apply industry best practices to deployments, upgrades, migrations, and issue resolution.
  • Prepare status updates, technical reports, and implementation documentation as needed.
  • Respond to eDiscovery requests.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service and technical support for employees across all global offices.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Who you are:ย 

  • Bachelor's degree in related business or IT field preferred; Microsoft certification desired but not required with demonstrated experience.
  • 5+ years of experience managing and working with:
    • TTD's collaboration tool stack, or similar products, for email, eDiscovery, cloud file storage and permissions, productivity suites, virtual meetings, chat, phone systems, meeting room systems, and unified communications.
    • Microsoft PowerShell or equivalent scripting experience for systems management.
    • Defining, documenting, and implementing standards for a given subject area.
    • Experience administering AI productivity platforms preferred.
  • Prior experience working with the ITIL framework in a SOX regulated environment is highly desired.
  • Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues across multiple platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to balance operational support responsibilities with strategic project work.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of systems, data, and company information.
  • Conduct consistent with company ethics, security, compliance, and operational standards.
