Job Description:

 

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cyber Infrastrastructure Systems Engineer (CISE) to join our Colorado Springs, CO team. This role requires an experience system administrator to support mission-critical systems and infrastructure in a secure environment. The ideal candidate will have deep experience administering complex enterprise systems, maintaining secure AWS infrastructure, supporting cybersecurity compliance, and enabling modern development and CI/CD platform operations. This role requires strong technical expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), AWS technologies, platform engineering, and secure systems administration practices.

Essential Functions:

 

  • Deploy, manage, and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure supporting mission and business applications.
  • Utilize cloud technologies such as Amazon Web Service (AWS) Amazon Machine Images (AMI)
  • Support and maintain CI/CD pipeline platforms to enable secure and efficient software delivery.
  • Collaborate with software development, DevSecOps, and cybersecurity teams to integrate infrastructure and platform services.
  • Automate system administration tasks using scripting and infrastructure-as-code approaches where applicable.
  • Utilize virtualization technologies such as KVM, VMware, vSphere/vCenter, and microservices/containers (e.g., OpenShift, Docker) to enhance system functionality and efficiency.
  • Implement and maintain security controls in compliance with DoD security frameworks and RMF requirements, integrating RMF principles into ground-up builds and ongoing security administration.

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or Graduate Degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
  • Secret Clearance
  • DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level 2 Required Professional Certifications: CCNA- Security, Security+ CE, or higher certification

Preferred Additional Skills:

  

  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, containers, or OpenShift platform administration.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and secure software development environments.
  • Experience with centralized logging, monitoring, and endpoint security tools.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado state is $80,500-$149,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
