Freedom Empowerment Counseling Services, LLC is seeking a dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our remote team. • Participate actively in team meetings to discuss patient care, share insights, and develop treatment plans.
• Adhere strictly to applicable ethical codes and organizational policies to ensure the highest quality of care.
• Implement therapeutic interventions based on individual assessments and sociocultural factors influencing the youth population.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of client progress using electronic medical records (EMR), facilitating seamless communication among team members.
• Assess financial or social barriers that could hinder client progress and provide guidance or referrals as needed.
• Maintain a consistent work schedule set forth by your supervisor, ensuring reliable availability for clients.
• Continuously pursue professional development, obtaining necessary certifications such as CPR and First Aid, and engaging in relevant training to enhance therapeutic techniques.

In this role, you will primarily serve youth clients facing emotional, behavioral, and socio-economic challenges. Your work will involve addressing issues related to anxiety, depression, trauma, and developmental transitions among adolescents. By focusing on a client-centered approach, you will help empower these young individuals to improve their coping mechanisms and life skills.

• Active independent license in your state of residence (LCSW, LMFT, LPC) is required.
• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work (e.g., MA, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, or PsyD) from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a high caseload effectively while maintaining high standards of service delivery.
• Strong organizational skills and proficiency in time management to prioritize tasks efficiently.

• Prior experience working with youth populations, specifically in a remote or community health setting.
• A proactive and motivational attitude that encourages and inspires young clients throughout their therapeutic journey.
• Experience with electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and familiarity with teletherapy platforms.
