Job description

AWS Network Services needs an experienced trailblazer in our Elemental Media organization to help us define product strategy and accelerate adoption of our services in the cloud. We are looking for a broad and deep leader who will own and drive product management across AI and media offerings. As a Principal Product Manager - Technical (PMT-ES) you will own complex services product development from strategic and product vision through feature definition, prioritization, positioning, naming, and adoption. In the Principal PMT role, you will lead cross-functional teams, develop the long-term roadmap/vision for strategic service initiatives and define new features to meet emerging customer needs. With AWS Network Services, you will be able to see and feel the impact of your work on your customers.
Key job responsibilities
We're looking for a PMT that's passionate about solving customer problems and has demonstrated
success in turning ambiguous customer needs into successful products. They must demonstrate ability to own P&L, identify the drivers for revenue, and lead Go-to-Market priorities.
Candidates will be comfortable working closely with and across agile teams. This is a high visibility, high impact role that will interact with all levels of AWS leadership. The right person is naturally customer centric and thrives in a fast- paced environment that requires strong technical and business judgment and solid communication skills. This role is for someone with a proven ability to execute both strategically and tactically.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of working as a Technical Product Manager experience
- 5+ years of technical (software development, network development, IT, other related) experience
- Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS or LaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market)
- Experience in B2B sales
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting
- Experience building large-scale machine learning and AI solutions at Internet scale

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
