• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to evaluate mental health needs and collaboratively develop personalized treatment plans for clients.
• Provide high-quality individual, couple, and family counseling sessions via telehealth, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address a variety of psychological challenges.
• Consistently maintain up-to-date and accurate client records in accordance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and legal compliance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, participating in regular consultations and staff meetings to deliver holistic treatment approaches.
• Engage in ongoing professional development activities, including attending workshops and seminars to stay abreast of the latest developments in the field of mental health counseling.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Central Valley Counseling Center, you will provide services to a diverse client population, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health conditions. You will play a vital role in helping clients navigate their emotions, improve their coping strategies, and achieve their therapeutic goals.

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• Current state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Connecticut, maintained in good standing.
• Demonstrated experience providing counseling services within an outpatient clinical setting.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong ability to connect with clients and convey empathy.
• Proficient in virtual counseling platforms and technology, with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of client care through telehealth.

• Experience with specific therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care is preferred.
• Previous experience working with diverse populations and understanding cultural competency in mental health care.

Central Valley Counseling Center offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Benefits include:
