Job Opportunity: Weekend Diagnostic Radiologist

Our organization is actively looking for a dedicated Diagnostic Radiologist to join our team on a weekend-only basis. This ongoing role focuses on delivering exceptional body imaging and emergency radiology services during the weekends. The position is fully integrated within our department, ensuring stable scheduling, robust clinical support, and attractive compensation.

Position Highlights:
  • Consistent Weekend Schedule: Coverage is defined from Friday to Sunday.
  • Productivity Expectations: Aim for approximately 400 – 450 wRVUs each weekend.
  • Academic Environment: Work within a prominent academic medical center with Level 1 trauma services.
  • Collaborative Atmosphere: Access to subspecialty support.
  • Remote Work: Flexibility to work from home.
Qualifications:
  • MD or DO degree.
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Diagnostic Radiology.
  • Preferred fellowship training in Body Imaging, ER/Trauma Radiology, or a related specialty.
  • Possession of a valid California medical license.

Compensation & Benefits:

The starting base compensation for this role ranges from $600,000 to $650,000, adjusted according to years of experience and faculty rank. This figure does not include variable compensation or additional productivity incentives and is subject to departmental compensation plans. Detailed discussions regarding compensation will occur during the recruitment process.
