• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' psychosocial needs, factoring in emotional, mental, and social elements affecting their education.
• Collaborate with teachers, school administrators, and families to develop tailored intervention plans that align with each student’s personal goals.
• Provide ongoing counseling and support for students and their families, offering strategies to navigate life transitions and academic challenges.
• Advocate for students' rights and facilitate access to relevant community resources, ensuring that families have the tools they need to succeed.
• Regularly evaluate students' progress through virtual meetings, documenting changes in behavior and emotional well-being to inform future plans.
• Address family dynamics and communication issues, providing mediation support as necessary.
• Educate families about available local programs, support groups, and resources that can enhance their engagement and well-being.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of assessments, counseling sessions, and interaction notes in accordance with best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Stay current on social work practices and relevant regulations, ensuring adherence to ethical standards while contributing to the development of effective policies within the organization.

This role specifically targets school-aged students, predominantly those facing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. The LCSW will work with a diverse population, including students with special needs, mental health concerns, and those experiencing various life stressors. The focus is on enhancing students' academic and social performance while fostering a supportive framework for their families.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of two years of direct experience in social work, particularly in educational or school settings.
• Demonstrated understanding of social work principles as they relate to child development, education, and community resources.
• Exceptional assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention skills.
• Strong interpersonal abilities with a focus on empathy, compassion, and rapport-building with students and families.

• Prior experience working in a remote environment is advantageous.
