What are Remote Student Assistants?

Remote Student Assistants are students who provide administrative, academic, or technical support to faculty, staff, or departments while working from a remote location, typically from home. Their responsibilities can include tasks like answering emails, scheduling appointments, managing data, assisting with research, or supporting online courses. These positions allow students to gain valuable work experience and develop skills in communication, organization, and technology, all while maintaining a flexible schedule that accommodates their studies.

How does a Remote Student Assistant typically collaborate with faculty and staff while working off-site?

Remote Student Assistants commonly use digital communication tools such as email, video conferencing, and project management platforms to coordinate tasks with faculty and staff.
