Summary:

As Senior Manager, Pricing Strategy, you will design and refine pricing and packaging strategies that deliver customer value and drive profitable revenue growth for DFIN. You will play a key role in building scalable pricing frameworks, conducting market and competitive analysis, and partnering with cross-functional teams to implement key strategic pricing initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and execution of pricing strategies that align with business goals, market dynamics, and customer needs. Ensure pricing decisions maximize profitability while remaining competitive.
  • Use competitive insights, customer feedback, and market research to provide data-driven recommendations and develop value and market-based pricing models that align with customer use-cases and willingness-to-pay.
  • Work closely with product, sales, and finance teams to ensure alignment on pricing decisions, discount strategies, and new product pricing. Conduct training and communicate pricing strategy and price points to key stakeholders including pricing operations (deal desk) and sales.
  • Regularly monitor price performance and market feedback and report on the performance of pricing initiatives. Provide insights and recommendations for ongoing improvement.
  • Influence and advise cross-functional teams leveraging strong interpersonal skills, including the management of multiple projects against deliverables & timelines simultaneously
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field. MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B software/SaaS pricing strategy
  • Strong thought-leadership and problem-solving skills with experience using data to drive decisions
  • Strong business acumen with an understanding of how pricing impacts revenue and profitability.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex pricing concepts to senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
