Job description

Job Summary:

The Strategic Product Lead will oversee the product portfolio, ensuring alignment with the company's strategy and collaborating with teams to optimize development and resources while identifying market opportunities.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain the overall product portfolio strategy in alignment with Inspira’s business goals.
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights to inform portfolio decisions.
• Evaluate and prioritize opportunities across products to optimize resources and ROI.
• Lead portfolio planning sessions and coordinate cross-functional roadmaps.
• Habitually conduct and/or participate in end user interviews, focus groups, and development of surveys to ensure solutions are meeting needs of our users.
• Monitor usage and engagement metrics and make data-driven decisions to optimize user experience and business outcomes.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to elicit, analyze and understand needs, constraints, risks and alignment with organizational strategy and priorities.
• Oversee product lifecycles, including launch, growth, maturity, and end-of-life stages.
• Monitor portfolio performance metrics such as revenue, profitability, and market share.
• Identify underperforming products and recommend actions to address gaps.
• Stay abreast of trends, technology advancements, and industry disruptions to guide portfolio innovation.
• Champion initiatives to introduce new products or enhance existing ones to maintain competitive advantage.
• Be the ultimate subject matter expert on assigned products for internal and external stakeholders.
• Attend key industry events, network with other industry experts, speak at conferences and oversee client ideation events.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 7+ years of experience in product management, portfolio management, or a similar role
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Marketing, Design, Psychology or related field; Master’s Degree preferred
• Proven track record in strategic planning and managing multiple products or business units.
• Deep understanding of consumer-directed healthcare and notional account products, including HSAs, FSAs, HRAs, COBRA, ICHRAs, and related benefits administration/payment ecosystems.
• Deep understanding of consumer driven benefits and regulatory environment surrounding them
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience with financial modeling, forecasting, and ROI analysis.
• Familiarity with product development methodologies, such as Agile or Lean.
• Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and drive alignment
• Ability to work with minimal direction, and flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and schedules
• Proven leadership skills to gain credibility, garner respect, and guide the creation of self-organizing teams
• Ability to handle multiple issues simultaneously and manage stressful situations
• Ability to provide and accept guidance and constructive feedback
• Desire for continuous improvement through learning and study
• Eagerness to teach and help develop others professionally, and exhibit passion and excitement about work to inspire others
• Ability to work occasional overtime
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• May travel up to once a month
