About the role
1nHealth is looking for a Director, Strategic Solutions to join our growing team. Reporting to the EVP, Partnerships and Delivery, this is an individual contributor role focused on driving net new revenue. You'll bring an existing book of business and build strategic relationships with key decision-makers at pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, and CROs. You'll own your full sales cycle-from prospecting through close-with a high degree of autonomy.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Drive net new business by leveraging your existing relationships at pharma companies, biotechs, and CROs
  • Own the full sales cycle from initial outreach through contract close
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clinical operations, patient recruitment, and study management decision-makers
  • Partner with our operations team to ensure smooth study onboarding and client satisfaction
  • Represent 1nHealth at industry conferences and events such as SCOPE and DIA
  • Maintain accurate pipeline data and forecasting in our CRM (Pipedrive)

Qualifications
  • 7+ years of B2B sales or business development experience in a quota-carrying, individual contributor role
  • Proven book of business-you come with relationships at pharma, biotech, or CRO companies and know how to activate them
  • Background in clinical trial services, patient recruitment, or a related clinical research service (strongly preferred)
  • Familiarity with how clinical trials are staffed and managed, and who holds the budget for recruitment services
  • Understanding of clinical trial buying cycles, including study budget timing, RFP processes, and preferred-vendor list dynamics
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets
  • Strong ability to engage clinical operations, project management, and VP-level decision-makers
  • Comfortable working in a lean, fast-moving startup environment with high autonomy
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (Pipedrive a plus) and modern sales engagement platforms
