Job description

Sustainable Talent is partnering with Nvidia a global leader who's been transforming computer graphics, PC gaming, and accelerated computing for over 25 years. We are looking for a Test Engineer to support our client's Automotive Vehicles team. This is a W-2 full-time REMOTE contract role. We offer competitive pay $60/hr - $85/hr based on factors like experience, education, location, etc. and provide full benefits, PTO, and amazing company culture!
This role focuses on system-level testing, simulation triage, and technical debugging within a complex autonomous vehicle environment. You will participate in a focused effort to scale and expand the testing frameworks that will help productize ground-breaking solutions redefine the world of transportation and the growing field of self-driving cars. You will work with hardworking and dedicated multi-functional engineering teams across various vehicle subsystems to integrate their work into our AV SW platform, while achieving or exceeding all meaningful NVIDIA and automotive standards & guidelines.
What You'll Be Doing
  • Investigate and triage failures in simulation and vehicle system testing environments
  • Perform system-level QA and validation testing across complex software and hardware systems
  • Debug issues using logs, telemetry, and system data to identify root causes of failures
  • Analyze system behavior and performance to determine whether outcomes meet expected validation criteria
  • Build small automation tools or Python scripts to improve testing workflows and efficiency
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of testing frameworks, dashboards, and internal tooling
  • Identify testing coverage gaps and help improve overall test infrastructure
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and drive root cause resolution
  • Document findings, test results, and issue tracking through Jira or similar systems

What We Need to See
  • 3+ years of experience in systems testing, QA, or validation within complex software AV environments
  • Hands-on experience with Python scripting or automation to support testing or debugging workflows
  • Experience debugging system behavior using logs, telemetry, or similar data sources
