Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized counseling services to clients, ensuring a safe space where they can explore their mental health concerns and work towards personal growth.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and formulate treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client, including challenges related to mental health disorders, trauma, and dual diagnosis.
  • Facilitate engaging individual, family, and group therapy sessions that promote healing, skill development, and positive coping strategies for clients.
  • Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation using our electronic health records system to ensure compliance and facilitate communication with external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams to coordinate care and develop integrated treatment approaches.

  • Participate in outreach efforts and community involvement to advocate for mental health awareness and accessibility.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our counseling services cater to a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families navigating various life challenges such as anxiety, depression, stress management, relationship issues, and traumatic experiences. This role requires a compassionate approach to address the unique circumstances and cultural backgrounds of each individual.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
  • An active and unrestricted LCPC license in the state of Kansas is mandatory.
  • A minimum of three years of experience providing mental health counseling in an outpatient setting.
  • Proficient in using technology for remote counseling, including telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems.
  • Ability to work independently with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to undergo a comprehensive background check.
